Alden carries the Manual Pallet Jacks in capacities of 5500lbs to 10000lbs with widths of 16″, 18″, 21″ and 27″ and lengths up to 96″ long. Certain models are available in galvanized or stainless steel.

Mechanical Hydraulic (Electric-Hydraulic)

Alden offers its customers CUSTOM made steel dock levelers in either Mechanical or Electric-Hydraulic designs.
Mechanical Dock Levelers are available in 27000lb and 35000lb capacities. They come standard with a 16″ lip, articulating top deck, safety tread plate for maximum traction and safety toeguards. Units can be ordered with pourpans, weather seals, dock bumpers, and a longer lip. CUSTOM sizes and capacities are available upon request.
Hydraulic (Electric Hydraulic) Dock Levelers are available in 27000lb, 35000lb, 45000lb, and 60000lb capacities. They come standard with a 16″ hydraulic lip, 1HP single phase motor and control box, articulating top deck, safety tread plate for maximum traction, maintenance stand, safety toeguards and full night lock. Units can be ordered with pourpans, weather seals, dock bumpers, with automatic return to cross traffic, an overhead door interlock, a 3phase motor, and 18″ or 20″ lips. CUSTOM sizes and capacities are available upon request.
Both Mechanical & Hydraulic units can also be designed with a free-standing base leg system.

Aluminum Dockplates (See the Aluminum dockplate video below)
Aluminum dockplates are an economical solution to loading & unloading trucks with light duty equipment
(such as PALLET JACKS, and Electric PALLET TRUCKS).
These dockplates have beveled edges for a smooth entry and exit. Each comes standard with bolted-on steel legs that secure the aluminum dock plate in place between the trailer and the dock.
Two built-in hand-holes provide easy handling and are available in various widths and lengths. Custom sizes and a 14″ lip for use in refrigerated truck applications are available upon request.

Aluminum Dockboards
Aluminum dockboards are available in capacities of 10000lbs and 15000lbs.
This medium duty dockboard is constructed of high-strength aluminum tread plate and designed
for use with standard Electric Pallet Trucks
and standard industrial FORKLIFTS.
Our Aluminum Dockboards have beveled edges for a smooth entry and exit. Structural steel side curbs provide strength and prevent equipment run-off. All side curbs are bolted together to allow the board to flex for maximum longevity. Each comes standard with bolted-on steel legs that secure the aluminum dock board in place between the trailer and the dock.
Each Aluminum dockboard comes standard with a 11″ lip and a 11 degree bend. Custom sizes and a 14″ lip refer lip and lift chains are available upon request.

Steel Dockboards
 
Economy Steel Dockboard Heavy-Duty Steel Dockboard
Economy Steel dockboards are available in capacities of 10000lbs and 15000lbs.
These Economy Steel Dockboards are designed to meet the demands of active docks that require moderate to heavy duty usage by standard industrial FORKLIFTS.
Structural steel side curbs are fully welded to prevent equipment run-off and for increased strength. Reinforced steel legs prevent the dockboard from moving between the trailer and the dock. Lift chains are standard on this unit for easier handling. Special/custom sizes are avialable upon request.
Heavy Duty Steel dockboards are available in standard capacities of 15000lbs and 20000lbs and are designed to meet the demands of active docks that require high capacity and heavy usage by FORKLIFTS and related equipment.
Formed side curbs are fully welded to prevent equipment run-off and for increased strength. Heavy-duty lift loops allow for easier handling, and they recess flush into the dockboard when not being used.
Each Heavy-Duty Steel Dockboard comes with 12″ long pin pockets at each end of the board. 1″ locking pins secure the board between the truck and the dock. Multiple hole locations allow for flexibility in securing the board to different type trailers, refers, and containers.
Higher capacities to 60000lbs and special/custom sizes are avialable upon request.

Universal Steel Dockboards
The Universal Steel Dockboard is designed for non-standard truck to dock applications, such as when a truck can’t back up to a dock squarely or a truck can’t back-up tight to the dock. These dockboards are made in the same fashion as our Heavy-Duty Steel dockboards and are available in standard capacities of 15000lbs and 20000lbs and are designed to meet the demands of active docks that require high capacity and heavy usage by FORKLIFTS and related equipment.
The Universal Steel Dockboards feature full length pin pockets with four 1″ locking pins to secure the dockboards in multiple positions. Heavy-duty lift loops allow for easier handling, and they recess flush into the dockboard when not being used.
Higher capacities to 60000lbs and special/custom sizes are avialable upon request.

Rail Dockboards
Our Steel Rail Dockboard is designed for usage on all types of rail application, such as box and refrigerated cars.
Every Rail Dockboard is CUSTOM manufactured to match the specifications of your dock. Each unit will come with built-in loops for easier handling. A durable box under structure fills up much of the gap between the dock and the rail car, and standard D-rings complete the locking of the rail board to the rail car and dock.
ALL rail boards are custom and capacities of 40000lbs to 80000lbs are available depending on the design required.
