Our Caster Socks are a similar concept to Tire Socks, but they are used on the smaller wheels of dollies, carts, pallet jacks, hospital beds, and other small equipment used over finished floors.

Our Caster Socks are manufactured of lighter-duty material and protect finished flooring from tread marks caused by smaller caster wheels.

FORK SOCKS:

Our Fork Socks are designed to fit over forklift forks to protect products from scatching, rubbing, and sharp fork tips.  They can be made to fit any sized forks.

TRACK SOCKS:  

Our Track Socks are very similar to our Tire Socks (for rubber tires), but Track Socks are used to protect finished flooring from scuff marks caused by rubber tracks.  They are commonly used on finished concrete, marble, and other finished flooring. 

Track Socks are durable, easy to install, and don’t slip off the track.  Track Socks are manufactured of heavy-duty materials and can be made to fit any sized track.

DRIP DIAPERS:  

Drip Diapers are used to protect finished flooring from fluid leaks caused by equipment. 

These Drip Diapers are attached to the bottom of equipment and catch minor leaked fluids from equipment when they are operating over finished floors.  A replaceable absorptive pad in the center of each Drip Diaper collects minor fluids that may leak from the chassis of the equipment. 

Drip Diapers are available in sizes up to 144″ x 240″.

Portable Yard Ramps:

Alden offers our customers Custom made Portable Yard Ramps available in assorted lengths and designs with capacities of 16000 lbs to 30000 lbs and larger.

Our Steel Yard ramps are custom manufactured.  The standard working height is from 38″ to 62″ with or without a level off area, come standard with a ramp positioner and SOLID rubber wheels.

Forks & Fork Extensions:

Alden offers our customers custom forks for both Hang-on (ITA) and shaft mounted forks.

We also offer fork extensions for both types of forks. 

NOTE: OSHA requires that fork extensions not exceed 1.50 times the length of the forks. 

(For Example: 72″ fork extensions can only be used on forks that are AT Least 48″ long).

Load backrests (LBR):

Standard LBR                        Universal LBR

Alden offers our customers CUSTOM made Steel Load Back Rests (LBR) that are designed to prevent loads from falling back towards the equipment driver.  The LBR allows product to rest against a square, flat surface that makes loading & unloading safe.

The OSHA required backrests feature a steel grid area above the forks.  Heavy-duty framing securely attaches the LBR to the sides of the forklift carriage.

Our standard Load Back Rests are either bolt-on or slip-on style.  Special backrest, such as notched center or electric pallet truck backrests are available upon request.

We offer solid welded units and UNIVERSAL Load Backrests.

Lift / Tilt Jibs (Forklift Portable Jib Cranes):

           LIFT JIB                                                           TILT JIB

Lift Jibs allow for flexible lifting of long, bulky loads, such as bar stock, piping and tubing. 

The forklift lift jib slides over the forks and secures to the forklift with a safety chain. 

Multiple hole locations and 2 standard swivel hooks (with shackles) give you many lifting options.  The standard LIFT JIB is 82″ retracted and can be extended to a 144″ when fully extended.  (see the video below for operation)

If you need additional lifting height, the TILT JIB allows for 3 vertical positions that gives you more lift height as the Jib is extended.Call us today for more information:
