Founded in 1979, our firm started as an equipment repair company under the stewardship of John Eisler.  Early on, the company saw a need to offer its customers material handling equipment and developed a sales team that included John’s brother, Elwood.

In 1994, as equipment sales outpaced service work, we changed our corporate name to Alden Equipment, Inc.

Over the years, the sales scope of our business has significantly increased.   In 2008, Alden Equipment entered into a long-term GSA contract with the US Government for international supply of material handling equipment.

In 2015, Alden obtained three long-term DLA HEPP contractsAlden’s customers now cover the globe.

Situated in Amsterdam, New York, Alden  we now offer over 170,000 individual products to customers in all time zones.  Our products include ForkliftsAerial LiftsBatteries & ChargersWarehouse EquipmentParts Service.
